HSE's Safe Net Zero solutions integrate health and safety into the development and deployment of the new and novel technologies underpinning the UK's decarbonisation activities.

Here's a round up of our latest news.

Join us for Safe Net Zero 2021 - Hydrogen

'Safe Net Zero 2021 – Hydrogen' is an online conference looking at the evolving work that is helping to deploy hydrogen as an energy vector as part of the UK's commitment to reduce carbon emissions and become 'net zero' by 2050.

With the announcement of the Prime Minister's Ten Point Plan, the publication of the BEIS energy white paper and the advent of COP26, decarbonisation is happening right now and there has never been more to discuss and learn.

Join us online for what promises to be three mornings of valuable insight, learning, discussion and networking.

'Safe Net Zero 2021 – Hydrogen' is free to attend – visit our website for further information and to book your place.

ICHS 2021 - Last call for abstracts

'Safe Net Zero 2021 – Hydrogen' marks the start of a very important programme of events throughout 2021 for those working to safely introduce hydrogen energy technologies.

In September, the International Association for Hydrogen Safety, HySafe, will host their International Conference on Hydrogen Safety (ICHS), followed in October by the Scottish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association's annual conference and COP26 in November.

This weekend is the deadline for submissions of abstracts for those wishing to present at ICHS. Interested parties need to submit their abstracts by 31st January 2021.

Stuart will be providing insight into the storage and distribution of hydrogen and its carriers. There will be talks from a number of other industry leaders and key academics as well as opportunity for discussion and networking

The workshop is an open forum for all with an interest in the development, application and end use of hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.  Find out more about the H2FC event on Eventbrite.
