⭐️NEW ⭐️KIMCHI QUESADILLAS + other 🏈SUPER BOWL PARTY FOODs!

Hi there!

Happy weekend everyone!

Earlier this week, I was trying to finish up another recipe post but then I realized Super Bowl weekend is just a week away!!

Although I know life is just not the same and most of us cannot have a proper Super Bowl party, I thought I should share a fun appetizer idea so you can at least kind of pretend that you are having a party! 🎉🏈🎉

Good food is at least half the fun, right??

Kimchi Quesadillas or Kim-Dilla according to some, have become another favorite easy Korean fusion appetizer for me lately. I made it for our outdoor neighborhood gathering last fall (when we were allowed to gather in small groups with proper distance) and everyone loved it!!

This is a simple and addictive Tteokbokki recipe made by sautéing the rice cakes in spicy chili oil and soy sauce! So easy and good to eat for a couple hours - doesn't have to be hot.

Crispy Korean Fried Chicken in a sweet and spicy garlic soy sauce. What goes better with football than chicken wings + beer (mekju 맥주)?!

Can you say 치맥 Chimek (CHIcken 🍗 + MEKju 🍺)?

psst - with KFC, try either mild Korean beers like OB or a light IPA like Hazy Little Thing or Pseudo Sue Pale Ale.

This fusion taco recipe features grilled Kalbi (Korean beef short ribs) topped with a soy lime napa cabbage slaw, cherry tomato salsa and a creamy gochujang sauce. You can prep everything ahead of time and set up a build-your-own taco bar for everyone!

You can also substitute other grilled meats like chicken bulgogi too!

Kimbap is the perfect appetizer or snack food that your guests will love! You can make the traditional style with multiple stuffing combinations, or opt for something more simple and quick to make like Mayak Kimbap.

Mayak Kimbap (known as "drug" kimbap because it's so addictive) uses just carrot or cucumber and has a delicious soy mustard dipping sauce!

Spock never lay this close to my husband before this year - and he has been with us since 2015.

Spock loves appa now. 💕
