My Goals for February and More! Weekly Recap.

Hey there,

How are you doing? How did the first month of 2021 treat you?

I spent the last 31 days getting back on track with food and exercise. December was not my best month ever. Anyway, I've done okay, but I can do better. I need to step it up a notch in February.

In February, I'm going to challenge myself to exercise everyday! And some other habits.

I did this back in August, and it helped to get my mind back on track.

Here are my goals for February:

Exercise every day for at least 30 minutes. The goal is to work up to 45 minutes of running and 20 minutes of toning.

Drink a smoothie every day. Smoothies simply make me feel better. I'm hydrated, better focused, and have a ton more energy.

I'm going to leave out sugar creamer in my coffee during the week. Well, I've fallen off the wagon with coffee creamer again. Focusing on keeping high sugar creamer out of my diet makes a difference.

Keep carbs below 100 a day. It's hard for this pasta-loving girl to keep carbs entirely under control. However, I need to because it helps me in so many different ways. It's easier to manage my weight, and I feel healthier.

Challenging myself to work on a habit for 30 days helps to retrain my brain to think differently. It's often difficult at first, but by week 2, it should start to feel more comfortable.
