New COVID-19 Case Information January 2, 2021 See Situation Update for COVID-19 for Minnesota case information updated daily. In observance of the holiday, we did not update the data on Friday, Jan. 1. Today's report is for data analyzed and reported out as of Thursday, Dec. 31. The Situation Update for COVID-19 posted on Sunday, Jan. 3 will include data for two days: Friday, Jan. 1 and Saturday, Jan. 2.
