HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS!

I hope you were able to stay safe and enjoy the holiday season. I loved seeing all the LCL recipes you were making!

It is the first week of 2021! How are we feeling? While we love goal setting all year, January is often the time for resolutions and making new intentions for yourself. January feels fresh, and like an easy time to reset.

While our January 2021 LCL Challenge isn't necessarily a resolution, it is a meal plan and self care challenge that we hope you carry on throughout the whole year. Rather than a month-long diet, it is an intention and habit you can carry on throughout life.

TOP 4 RECIPES OF 2020
Grab the top 10 and my favorites here!

1. The Best Baked BBQ Chicken Breast: This recipe truly does makes the best baked BBQ chicken breasts and we're so glad you agree! This is currently the most popular recipe on the site consistently since it was published! It's one of those easy-to-make-any-night-of-the-week recipes.

2. Gluten-Free Banana Bread: This recipe became super popular at the start of the shutdown. Everybody turned to cozy comforting recipes, and we are so glad we were able to bake this along at home with you. We received so many tags and photos of people at home, staying safe, baking up all the gluten-free banana bread, and it's a memory we'll always remember.

3. Healthy Hamburger Helper: A nostalgic but also a darn-good recipe…this one was also a favorite of ours! It checks all the boxes: simple to make, using staples you likely already have at home and one the whole family will love! We see this recipe being a favorite for years to come.

4. Five Chicken Marinades (Freezer-Friendly): Not going to lie, this one was a lot of fun to put together! We loved all the marinades so much, and judging from its popularity–you did too! This post was also really fun to research and share all we learned about the in's and out's of marinating chicken.

THE COOKBOOK
In stores everywhere books are sold since 2016!
One Amazon Review: "My favorite cookbook of all time! It's my weekly go to, my kids and husband approve of EVERYTHING I've made from Lexi's book which is no small feat as they are a tough crowd! The recipes are easy to make and understand but actually taste good and coming from someone who ordered every paleo/gluten free/dairy free cookbook on the planet when we made the switch for our family about a year ago, I can tell you this is the ONE and only book I consistently use (and use every single week!). I'm officially obsessed. You won't be disappointed!"
See you next week in your inbox!
