To Providers of Adult or Children's Services to Individuals with IDD or Autism
The State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) is planning to launch the new Lifespan Waiver in May 2027.
Our first priority is to offer support for future providers of Lifespan services. Following our Lifespan Provider Readiness project in 2025, we are reaching out to understand provider interest in offering services under Lifespan. To that end, we created a survey to gauge interest from providers who serve individuals fourteen or older who have intellectual or developmental disabilities or autism.

The survey will be open until Friday, October 16, at 4:00 pm.
Filling out the survey does not obligate an agency to provide services. We are both gauging interest in particular services, but also gathering contact information so we can provide technical assistance to agencies. For example, we hope to sustain Communities of Practice, and provide training opportunities.
