Quarterly HGV enforcement data for Great Britain DVSA has published the latest quarterly vehicle enforcement data for Great Britain.   It covers October 2025 to June 2026.  The data covers:  Vehicle enforcement checks at roadside and operators’ premises  Severity of defects and offences  Maintenance assessments and outcomes  Most common offences for prosecution  Top 10 prohibition defects as a percentage of all vehicles inspected  For the most recent quarter – April to June 2026 – the 10 most common HGV mechanical defects recorded at roadside are: Condition of tyres – 7.62%  Exhaust emissions – 2.48%  Security of body – 2.31%  Brake systems and components – 2.00%  Service brake operation – 1.65%  Direction indicators and hazard warning lamps – 1.44%  Steering mechanism – 1.05%  Lamps – 0.83%  Suspension – 0.83%  Registration plates and vehicle identification number – 0.81%  The full vehicle enforcement statistics are available on GOV.UK.   Don’t become a statistic.
