I love making soup for dinner, especially at the start of Fall, but honestly, I can eat soup any time of year!
(This is no secret, as you'll find dozens of yummy Soup Recipes on TBFS). My husband, however...let's just say he's never overly excited about soup for dinner. He thinks most soups are boring and not filling enough.
The flavor. I make this soup a little on the spicy side (though you don't have to), and the combination of chipotle peppers, green chilis, and adobo sauce makes this soup ultra-flavorful and delicious.
Hearty. The combination of bacon, potatoes, and corn makes this soup extra filling.
Bread bowl. This is the perfect soup to serve in a bread bowl. It holds up well and won't cause the bread to get very soggy. I also love the bread bowl as a solution for the complaint that the soup isn't filling enough.
