First, let me start by saying this: Thank God for President Trump and his pardoning of J6 prisoners.
Even with the pardons, you may not realize what life is like for many J6ers…
I work directly with many of the J6ers. And here are some of the issues they face: Some are homeless to this day. Some can't get a job because of the time they've spent in jail. And many are struggling to return to some semblance of a normal life.
They have had their rights stripped from them. Many have been separated from their families for years. They can't vote. They can't own a firearm.
Not only are these men and women patriots, but they come from all walks of life — law enforcement, veterans, white-collar professionals, blue-collar workers, and all races and religions.
And they were hunted down in a political persecution that denied them their constitutional rights.
So, what comes next for J6ers?
There are nearly 1,600 Americans who need to rebuild their lives. That's exactly what Stand in the Gap is helping them do.

Stand in the Gap originally started to help reunite families with a loved one incarcerated due to J6. Now, our focus is helping the recently released J6ers navigate the challenging process of re-entry into society after being incarcerated.
One of the simplest ways we are helping them is by providing them with insurance and the resources to meet their healthcare needs.
Many of the J6ers haven't seen a dentist or doctor in four years. They've lost their jobs, which means they've lost their insurance.
Our mission is to ensure that every J6er not only has access to healthcare to meet all of their medical needs but also receives the help they need to heal mentally, emotionally, and financially.

Surprisingly, there are very few resources for people who are released from prison, particularly if they are conservative or America First activists. While some J6ers come from families with means, most do not.
We were founded to "stand in the gap" for those in prison and those navigating life after incarceration. Our primary aim is to let them know that they are not forgotten. This begins by providing health insurance to meet immediate physical needs and evolves as Stand In The Gap is the one-stop shop for any J6er in need of counseling as they reintegrate back into society.
The J6ers are our neighbors. They are sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, and It is up to us to ensure that they have the resources needed to rebuild their lives and reclaim their dignity.
