Happy Sunday!
The sun made a rare winter appearance here in Ohio today, which makes alllll the difference.
I hope the sun was shining wherever you were today too. ☀️
I'm going home to visit my parents (anyone else still call their childhood home "home"?). And lately when I visit, I bring meals for their freezer.
This time I made them containers of homemade spaghetti sauce, chicken pot pie filling (which they like over egg noodles), and soup.
I figure my mom cooked for me for 18+ years, she well deserves some pre-prepped meals to make her life easier.
You'll find two of the recipes below under "Our Menu".
What are your favorite meals to make for the freezer? Hit REPLY and tell me. I'm always looking for ideas.❄️
And since I know you're on the edge of your seat about this, here are the results of the "who's to blame for the cracked sink" poll from last week:
About 75% of you said my husband, about 25% said it was shared blame--and one person said it was MY fault, as if!
Needless to say, replacing a fireclay farmhouse sink is no easy task. Cross all of your fingers and toes for me that it can be done without cracking (and replacing) the countertops.
