Happy Saturday, AK fam! I hope you've all had a lovely week. We're soaking in some baby-free time this weekend while Sidney is at his grandma and grandpa's house and wow, it feels amazing to relax. I've been getting lots of requests for recipes that use alternative sugars and while I typically do bake with more natural sugars like coconut sugar, honey & maple syrup, I wanted to put together some amazing recipes that have no added sugar! What does no sugar added mean? According to the FDA, a food with "no added sugars" cannot be processed with any sugar or sugar-containing ingredients but can contain naturally occurring sugar like bananas and fruit. The recipes below get their sweetness from fruit only! Some of the recipes do have chocolate chips but feel free to omit them if you'd like to keep the recipe completely free of added sugars.
