 Today is National Spouses Day. Friday is the 160th anniversary of Kansas Statehood. January is National Hot Tea Month. February 3rd is National Women Physician Day.

National Spouses Day: January 26

According to the Current Population Survey, 2020 ASEC Supplement, there are some 133.3 million married adults age 15+ in the U.S., not counting 4.5 million who are separated.

Kansas

Kansas 160th Anniversary of Statehood (1861): January 29

Kansas joined the Union on January 29, 1861 as the 34th state. Nickname: The Sunflower State. Motto: Ad astra per aspera (To the stars through difficulties).

Tea

National Hot Tea Month: January

U.S. imports of tea, spices, etc., were valued above $2.5 billion in 2019, more than double the $1.2 billion value a decade earlier in 2009.

National Women Physician Day: February 3

According to the 2019 American Community Survey (ACS), there were 264,002 women physicians. Full-time earnings were $185,183.
