Game day chicken favorites. Use this method for pieces, wings, pork chops. The results are crispy outside, moist inside, and no fry mess.
~ Oven Fry It ~ My mom always oven-fried her chicken. Except when my brother called fried chicken for his birthday dinners, and made it specific: DEEP FRIED, Mom. Of course she did it, but the rest of the time, her chicken dusted in seasoned flour, baked and drizzled with a tiny bit of butter was the ticket. For me, oven-fry is one of my go-to methods: chicken pieces (those thighs!), wings, pork chops. Your game day fare just got its marching orders. | |
| The seasoned flour for these is spiced with paprika, granulated garlic, pepper, and plenty of salt. Add Za'atar or 7-Spice for flair. | |
| Our spices are good friends of chicken any which way.
