New recipe that is definitely game day-appropriate!
I love how simple these messy sandwiches are to make! No special equipment needed and most of the action happens in the oven. Shreds of oyster mushrooms get sizzled on a hot baking sheet with spices and then coated in BBQ sauce and Tamari before a quick broil. There are saucy bits and caramelized edges, all topped with a cool tahini ranch slaw. It's pretty good!
This would be a fun game day supper idea or just a weeknight thing--once the mushrooms are shredded, it comes together pretty quick.
