πŸŽ‰ Weekly Update July 31st, 2022 πŸ₯—

Hey there reader,

So, I literally can't believe tomorrow is August 1st. Summer is basically over! I mean, technically, we have a month left before going back to school, but August is when we gear up and get ready for back to school. So, the lazy days of summer for me are done. Although, I'm not sure if I even had any lazy days 😳

Over the next few weeks, we do all of our BTS shopping and get life in order because, trust me, nobody wants to be around me in September if I don't prepare ahead of time.

Next week I'll share some tips for getting ready for the busy fall season. And, if it's not your busy season, then just sit back and watch all of us crazy parents try to navigate school, sports, work, a house, and dogs, all while keeping up with eating healthy, exercise, and possibly a social life. Ha! Don't worry; I've been at this for a LONG time, so I have some tips to save our sanity in the coming month.

But before I go any further, I want to share again that we are starting the mason jar salad challenge tomorrow. There's still time to join! Grab the recipes below before running to the grocery store. And don't forget to join the OYS Facebook group where I'm running this challenge live. I'm so excited!

Okay, let's get to our weekly newsletter/

Recipes to Try This Week.

This month I'm going to share recipes that you can start stocking your freezer with to get prepared for back to school. These are all teenager-approved recipes. My girls have been eating these recipes for the last ten years, so I guess we can also call them kid-approved.

Having sauces in the freezer is so helpful when you want to make a quick dinner. Check out this Bolognese sauce, Arrabiatta Sauce, Marinara Sauce, and Pizza Sauce I shared on my sister's site, Gluten-Free Italian Eats.
