Happy Tuesday Friends!
As we start to close out January, I'm getting into full Valentine's Day mode!
Nothing too crazy. On actual Valentine's Day, I might make some heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, or put on jeans instead of my steady rotation of yoga pants--you know, to dress up a little for the occasion.
BUT what I do love to do on the days leading up to the 14th is make cute little sweets for my sweeties. Here's what I'm kicking off the season with:
Valentine Rice Krispie Treats!
Easy, peasey, and super cute.
To make these guys, you're just dipping some of those tasty little Rice Krispie squares into melted white chocolate (I colored my chocolate pink for the holiday) and then you attach a milk chocolate heart, and sprinkle on some Valentine's Day colored sprinkles.
They come out looking like a cute little Valentine (or a love letter....) and they taste delish!
This recipe is super easy to make and the kids will LOVE helping you. It's also a great snack for kids to bring to the classroom!
I'll leave the recipe below!
