We do love a curry, so we were delighted to celebrate Tharavadu's 10th year in Leeds City Centre on the 2nd June. Serving authentic South Indian dishes cooked to the finest standard, this popular restaurant gives you a real taste of Kerala. [AD|INVITE]
To mark their anniversary, Tharavadu invited a select group of guests and treated them to a welcome drink, special set menu and live entertainment including music, flame breathing and cutting of a special made cake by the City's Lord Mayor, which we all got a piece of too.
The passion that the talented chefs and friendly staff have here comes across in the superb food and warm atmosphere. The restaurant staff are a real family that welcome all who want to enjoy some South Indian food.
We got to enjoy;
- Chilli Paneer
- Meen Chuttathu (Fish)
- Kerala Kozhi Curry (Chicken)
- Aadu Cheera Mappas (Lamb)
- Karala Paratha and rice
- Semiya Payasam
- Pistachio Kulfi
All food was delicious and we ate every last crumb. The menu here has an array of amazing dishes with starters costing around £8 and mains around £16-£20.
Opening Times; Mon - Fri : 5 - 10 pm, Sat : 12- 10 pm & Sun : 12 - 8 pm
