OADS Sponsored UNH START Training
Please join the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) for a webinar on the University of New Hampshire START Training for DSPs, Case Managers, and Care Coordinators. This webinar will discuss the key components of START training, the benefits to provider agencies, and important registration information. Attendees will be able to ask questions and obtain important information about the START program.
START is an evidence-based, community crisis prevention and intervention service model for individuals aged 6 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health needs (IDD-MH). The START model is person-centered and solutions-focused, employing positive psychology approaches and other evidence-based practices.
START Stands for Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment.
