Overview: You can pack lots of classics into any mountain bike trip to Crested Butte, and the 401 should definitely be top of your list. Tucked high up above CB, Trail 401 offers beautiful high alpine views, complete with colorful pops of wild flowers and smooth, flowy singletrack lined with mountain cabbage that brushes your handlebars as you zip down this rollercoaster of a trail.
Overview: In the North West corner of the South Island of New Zealand a long-forgotten gold miners' road is being revived as a mountain biking trail. Connecting the old dray road in the Lyell (Upper Buller Gorge) to the mighty Mokihinui River in the north, the 85km-long Old Ghost Road traverses majestic native forest, open tussock tops, river flats and forgotten valleys.
Overview: Whistler Bike Park is legendary for good reason, and Top of the World is its new crown jewel. It's a mind blowing experience which takes the flow that the Whistler Mountain Bike Park is famous for and drops it on the Peak of Whistler Mountain. With some of the world's best riding set against the granite spires of the Coast Range, Top of the World is the pinnacle of alpine riding.
