Tuesday 27 February 2024 MEDIA ADVISORY Embargoed virtual press conference on obesity and other forms of malnutrition When: Thursday, 29 February 2024 at 14:00 CET (Geneva time) Subject: Ahead of World Obesity Day on 4 March, WHO will be holding an embargoed virtual press briefing on obesity and other forms of malnutrition. Imperial College London in collaboration with WHO contributed to the data collection and analysis and will release its data on obesity on 1 March (00:30 CET). An embargoed press release will be shared with media on 28 February, ahead of findings being published by The Lancet.
