A little about the episode…

Just between us, the end of last year left me feeling a tad burnt out. My meal prep, exercise, and all those healthy habits were getting the minimum effort from me. I was tired and just not giving it my all, which definitely took its toll.

But as we said goodbye to December and edged into 2024, I started thinking a lot about resolutions. You know I believe in starting new habits anytime, but there's something irresistibly refreshing about a New Year reset.

And that's when it clicked for me - my big resolution was to show up for myself, making my health and wellness my absolute priority.

I know, as women, putting ourselves first can feel a bit strange; it kind of sounds selfish - or at least that's how we are conditioned to think.

But here's the truth: everything else aligns when I commit to my health and wellness.

Whether it's sticking to my smoothies, getting those salads in, or prioritizing exercise, these aren't just tasks; they're commitments to being the best version of myself.

And guess what? It turns out that making these commitments doesn't just benefit me; it makes me a better mother, wife, friend, and human in general.

In this episode, I'm diving into how changing our perspective on self-care from "nice to have" to absolutely essential can be a game-changer.

I'll share my strategies for sticking to this resolution, the lessons I've learned this month, and three tips that are making it all a bit easier for me.
