πŸŽ‰ Weekly Update April 2nd, 2023 (Goals for April) πŸŽ‰

Hey there reader!

I can't believe it's already April. This weekend was so busy that I need a few days to recover. How was your weekend?

Anyway, I wanted to talk about my progress in March and my goals for April. I didn't make as much progress as hoped in March, but I'm proud of my small steps toward my goals. I think it's important to celebrate any progress, even if it's not everything you want.

Looking ahead, my goals for April are to stay focused and productive. I want to make more progress toward my goals and work on some new projects.

Let's talk about my goals for March and how I did.

πŸ‘‰ My first goal was to have a smoothie and a mason jar salad every weekday, and I'm happy to say that I give myself an 8/10 for this one.

πŸ‘‰ My second goal was to keep my coffee creamer intake under control. At the beginning of the month, I was doing well and gave myself an 8/10, but by the end, I slipped up and gave myself a 0/10. Not good, but I'll work on it in April.

πŸ‘‰ My third goal was to have low-carb dinners 2-3 nights a week, but I dropped the ball on this one and gave myself a 0/10. I need to check in on my goals throughout the month to stay on track.

πŸ‘‰ My fourth goal was to exercise 4-5 days a week, and I gave myself a 5/10. Some weeks I did great, but others, not so much.

πŸ‘‰ My work goal was to get my Shopify store up and running, and I'm happy to say that I accomplished this with flying colors - 10/10! You can check it out at my Reset & Flourish Shop.

After reflecting on these goals, I realize I need to prioritize myself as much as I do my work. I'll focus on my health goals and check in on them regularly throughout April.

Here are my goals for April:

✅ First, I will keep up with my smoothie and mason jar salads because I love them.

✅ Starting tomorrow, I'm taking on a 10-day NO CREAMER challenge. That means no creamer in the morning or afternoon, not even a little. I've found that challenges like this help me kick-start my progress. I kn

✅ I will also refocus on having low-carb dinners 2-3 nights a week and not eating after 6:00 pm. These habits have worked well for me in the past, and I need to get back into them.

✅ For exercise, I'm trying something new. I saw a 60-mile challenge on Facebook for a charity (I think it was St. Jude), and I thought it sounded like a great way to stay motivated. My goal is to complete 60 miles by the end of the month, which means walking 3 miles five days a week for four weeks. I'm confident I can do it!

✅ Finally, my big work goal for the month is to create a brand new Reset & Flourish Program. This online program combines mindset, strategy, and action to help you make a healthy transformation. I'm still in the early stages, but I aim to have it ready for enrollment by mid-May or the beginning of June. I'm really excited for this!

I'll be posting my progress in our Facebook group, so make sure you're a part of it to stay up to date. And please share your goals and progress, too - seeing what others are working on motivates me!

Let's get to the rest of the newsletter.

Announcements

Have you checked out my new shop, Reset & Flourish? If not, I'd love for you to take a look! This weekend, I'm having a flash sale on my 10-Day Overnight Oats Challenge Guide for only $4.97. But hurry, because the sale ends tonight. If you're interested, grab your copy before the price goes back up to $8.97 tomorrow morning.

In addition, I'm currently working on a brand new freezer guide that will focus on individual freezer meals – similar to homemade lean cuisines. These meals are my favorite freezer meal, and if you like having delicious homemade healthy meals ready to heat and eat, you'll definitely want to check out this guide. It'll be available by May 1st.
