Something BRITISH + Something CHINESE!

This coming Saturday is the coronation of King Charles and of all the British recipes on my website I can't think of anything more quintessentially "British" than crumpets.

When it comes to comfort food, I'm not sure anything can beat a hot-off-the-skillet homemade crumpet slathered with butter and jam. And if you've only ever had store-bought crumpets, you're in for a life-changing treat!

If you can't order crumpet rings in time for the big celebration, don't worry: our readers have reported successfully using mason jar rings dipped in oil. Whichever route you go, give these homemade crumpets a try. They're really fun to make and so, SO yummy!!

Be sure to also check out my other favorite British recipes!

You may have already heard me say this, but I'm a huge fan of Chinese dishes like this Beef & Broccoli: they're super quick to make (that earns a solid "hallelujah!" from me on a busy weeknight) and they lend themselves so beautifully to adding any combination of vegetables you have on hand ("beef and broccoli? Well, I don't have any broccoli but...I've got some cabbage and a red bell pepper? That'll work!").

Prep time is quick, cook time is even quicker, and paired with some steamed rice you'll have a complete and delicious meal on your table in < 20 minutes. And the flavor will rival your favorite Chinese takeout!

Last week....

This one's another family favorite!

This Chicken Stroganoff is luxuriously creamy with an incredibly delicious depth of flavor….it's everything a chicken stroganoff should be! It's made from scratch (as always) with a delicious medley of ingredients, including our "secret" ingredient for the ultimate flavor!

It's easy to make, quick enough for a week night meal, makes terrific leftovers, and is sure to be a hit at your dinner table!
