Hey there reader!
How are things going? I hope the first week of February is treating you well. We just ended the Mason Jar Salad challenge on Wednesday - it is so motivating to do these challenges with everyone on the FB group. If you haven't already, I recommend joining; it's filled with amazing ladies working together and inspiring each other daily. I love it! Also, if you missed out on the live challenges, keep an eye out for another round in the summer.
Of course, people are still sharing their smoothies and salads (including me) in the Facebook group. So while it's not a formal challenge, you can hop in and start sharing.
Last Sunday, I talked a little bit about my goals for February. There are four things I want to focus on.
✅ More water. I don't know if it's just me or what, but I find it hard to get in 64 ounces of water a day; I have to be intentional and force myself to drink that much. Smoothies help, but I want to get in an extra 64 ounces of water daily.
✅ Reduce my high-sugar coffee creamer. Ugh, I hate to write that because if you've followed me for longer than a few months, this isn't the first time you've seen me talk about my love/hate relationship with vanilla creamer. Anyway, my goal was to cut it out for 30 days. Well, I already failed ๐๐๐ so I will restart this goal tomorrow.
✅ Exercise 4-5 times a week. I got off track with exercise over the holidays, but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. I had a few solid runs this week and got through my toning routine, so that was a win.
✅ Stay on track with food. Using My Fitness Pal is such a powerful tool. I'm not super strict with every bite, lick, and taste, but it keeps me intentional, which I need.
I'll share more about these goals in the FB group. Also, I would love for you to share your goals too.
