Hi friend, happy Friday!
It's now been just over a month that The Vegan Week was published.
Many of the folks who read my blog have kindly supported the book with purchases or by putting in requests to see it on the shelf at a local library.
Others have shown their support with generous words or expressions of excitement.
I appreciate all of these gestures so, so much.
Writing this cookbook was a long and bumpy road. Now that it's in the world, I can appreciate all of the ups and downs of its creation. I've been surprised by how tenderly I feel toward it!
I'm checking in today to see how those of you who have The Vegan Week are enjoying it so far.
What have you tried? Any favorite recipes so far? Are you finding the book to be practically helpful?
As I share about this cookbook, I realize how passionate I've become about vegan meal prep and planning as a topic.
In my private practice, I see often that it's not lack of nutrition knowledge or genuine interest in cooking that hold people back from eating as wholesomely as they'd like to.
Very often, the barriers are limited time, stress, and—most significant of all—lack of planning.
My hope is that The Vegan Week will give you a flexible framework for planning out what you'll eat in the week ahead.
It's Friday (yay!), which is my day for planning and creating a grocery list for my weekend meal prep. Here's what I'll be having next week:
It's going to be a good week of food.
If you have The Vegan Week and are enjoying it so far, then I can't tell you how much it would mean to me to have your support in the form of a review on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Goodreads.
I know that you've already done so much in purchasing the cookbook, and I'm really grateful. By sharing a review, you'll help other readers and home cooks to find and use the recipes.
And, if there's anything that I can do to make your experience of the book richer, would you let me know?
Seriously: I'm here to answer your questions and to encourage you as best I can.
Feel free to reply to this email and share your thoughts on how I can help to make plant-based meal prep feel just a little easier for you.
I hope you've got a restful weekend ahead. I'll be checking in on Sunday with the usual links and musings!
xo
