"Pretty rice" is the newest dining trend in China and it literally just means a dish presented exquisitely so that it appears super pretty. Taste is another story - obviously some of these pretty dishes also taste amazing, but others, not so much. I wasn't particularly impressed by this salmon "poke", though I do have to admit that it was presented nicely (as is the style of this restaurant). Rather bland, to be honest, and I wasn't a fan of the combination of fava beans and kimchi 😦
