Hey Good Food Lover, You know how I've been living in Costa Rica for a while now, and one of my favorite parts of being here has been learning how food connects people from everywhere.
Even when a dish isn't originally from here, it somehow finds its way into everyday life and takes on little touches from different cultures.
That's exactly what happened with this breakfast.
Easy Huevos Rancheros
Huevos rancheros have become one of my favorite ways to start the day. Simple, filling, and endlessly adaptable depending on who's making them.
I've met people here who love adding a spoonful of salsa Lizano (Classic Costa Rican Sauce) on top, and it works beautifully. Others prefer to keep it classic and make their own sauce from scratch. Both feel right, and that's what I love about this dish.
It's one of those recipes that quietly brings different nationalities together on the same plate.
You can keep it traditional, add your own twist, or make it exactly how you like your mornings to feel.
This is one of those recipes I keep coming back to, especially on slow mornings when breakfast feels like more than just a meal. Happy cooking,
Huevos rancheros are traditionally a hearty breakfast meant to fuel long days of work, which is why they're built around simple ingredients that deliver real comfort.
