๐Ÿฝ️ What to do when dinner comes out AWFUL?

Hi reader,

I have a confession to make…

Not every meal I make is a home run.

I once made a sandwich with leftover turkey, cream cheese, and cranberry sauce - husband hated it.

Then there was the time I made blueberry pancakes - kids wouldn't touch them (and they still tease me about it).

I'm 100% sure there is more, but I tend to block them out whenever it happens so I can't remember details off the top of my head… Maybe my brain is saving itself from future embarrassment and traumatic stress, LOL!

Even if dinner doesn't turn out that great, I'm still conscious about NOT throwing away food. Food waste is money waste, and none of us can afford to throw away our hard earned money!

Here are 6 ways to repurpose leftovers into something else. And if you botched dinner in the first place, here's your chance for redemption!

  1. Serve a leftover buffet
  2. Make it a soup
  3. Turn it into a puree
  4. Bake it into a pie
  5. Or pockets
  6. Add cheese and pasta and call it a casserole

For those who need recipes, try my Leftover Pork and Potato Soup (uses any kind of leftover pork) or my Leftover Oatmeal Snack Cake (uses leftover oatmeal).

Blessings!
