Hamas Leader Killed in Iran

The killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh Wednesday in a predawn airstrike in Iran sparked fears of retaliation and wider regional conflict.

The airstrike occurred shortly after Israel claimed to have killed a senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut, further escalating tensions in the region.

While Israel has not claimed responsibility for the airstrike against the Hamas leader in Tehran, it has drawn threats of revenge from Hamas and Iran.

The events have also set back chances for an imminent ceasefire in the Gaza conflict, with Hamas vowing to take the battle to "new dimensions.”

Boar's Head Recall Hits 7 Million Pounds

Deli meat supplier, Boar’s Head, expanded its recall to include 7 million additional pounds of deli and poultry products associated with a deadly multistate outbreak of listeria infections. See a list of recalled items.

The extended recall comes a week after Boar’s Head initially recalled over 200,000 pounds of meat linked to two deaths and 33 hospitalizations across 13 states.

The new recall includes 71 products made between May 10 and July 29 at the Jarratt, Virginia, processing plant under the Boar's Head and Old Country brand names.

People who bought the recalled products are advised to throw the items away or return them to the store. Customers should also clean out their refrigerators as the bacteria can grow in cold temperatures and spread to other foods.

List: Biggest Homes in Each State

A list of the biggest homes in each state showcases magnificent manors, chateaus, ranches, and a 33,000 square foot basement with a 103-seat movie theater.

The largest home in the U.S. is the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. It boasts 175,000 square feet, 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces.

Many of the homes on the list are connected to American history. The 130-room Shadow Lawn served as a summer home for President Woodrow Wilson, and New York’s Oheka Castle appeared in the classic film “Citizen Kane.”

Perhaps the most fun house is the Chase Mansion in Connecticut. Not only does it have that vast basement theater, but it also includes a game room, music room, and concession stand. You can see the full list of homes here.
