Hey there reader!
I hope you're all doing well! Today, I'm feeling like a zombie after my twin stepdaughters' graduation party last night. It was a blast, but it was a ton of work and a late night.
We're in clean-up mode today, and I might just sleep the whole day tomorrow.
But I've got to gear up for my daughter Emma's grad party next. It's been busy, but I absolutely love celebrating and sending off all my graduates with a fun, well-deserved party. They've worked so hard over the years, and it's a special moment for all of us.
Now, let's talk about some progress:
Lately, I've been doing great with keeping my sugar intake under control.
However, if I'm being honest, this past week, I fell off the wagon a bit. Not completely, but enough to feel it.
Stress and busyness got the best of me, and I found myself indulging in sugary creamer and carb-filled dinners. Looking back, I can see where my hot zones got the best of me.
But hey, I'm only human, and these weeks happen to all of us. So, I'm just going to dust myself off and do better this week.
It's not all bad news, though! Despite my slip-ups, I managed to get in my 3-4 mile walks each day and even squeezed in some toning exercises.
And let me tell you, my smoothies and mason jar salads have been lifesavers! I recently did a mason jar salad workshop for the Reset & Flourish Collective members, and it was a hit. I can't wait to do more in the future.
Here's the plan for this week:
✅ Smoothie ingredients are prepped, and I have my mason jar salads ready for the week.
✅ Dinners are going to be easy with the recipes I'll share below.
✅ I'm going to focus on drinking 64 ounces of water daily because I feel so much more energetic when I'm fully hydrated.
✅ I'll make time for exercise 4-5 times this week, including cardio and toning.
