Here's another example of "pretty rice" - and I've found that all of these have several aspects in common: extremely colourful with high contrast, random ingredients, lots of spices and what not scattered on top, and small portion sizes. This one is "Wagyu beef hamburger steak with buttered rice" if translated correctly, but I don't think the meat was Wagyu beef, and "butter" was probably the layer of cheese that you see here. I mean, the food itself doesn't taste bad, per say, but it just wasn't GREAT either...
