I wasn't planning to do this - the sale officially ended on January 1st — but after the last week and the emails I received, it just felt right.
And honestly… can we all just agree on this?
The new year doesn't really start until today.
The last five days have been a complete blur. Between the holidays wrapping up, schedules being off, kids home from college, and everything feeling just a little chaotic, trying to jump into a "new routine" last week just wasn't realistic. Not to mention, I just sent my oldest off to Paris to study abroad....It was literally pure craziness.
Saturday morning, after I got Emma on the plane to Paris, I finally felt like I could breathe.
So, I decided to do some grocery shopping to start getting ready for the "New Year" starting Monday (today) ππ
✅ I downloaded a meal plan (I also use the Flourish52 meal plans every week) ✅ I printed the grocery list. ✅ I went to the store.
And then on Sunday I spent a couple of hours doing some simple prep so I could start this week feeling ready.
Here's exactly what I did — not perfectly, just realistically:
I prepped smoothie kits and mason jar salads (always my top priority)
I made a big batch of sauce & meatballs
I prepped a slow cooker turkey chili to cook during the week
I prepped the ingredients for buffalo chicken soup
And I made a batch of shredded chicken because it makes everything easier — salads, rice bowls, quick dinners
This isn't a pic of everything but you get it...
That's it.
It took a couple of hours, not all day.
And when I woke up this morning to a clean kitchen, food ready to go, and finally got in my first workout… I felt so much better.
Not magically motivated. Not "new year, new me."
Simply ready to start my week.
If you're reading this while staring at your computer at work — still feeling a little exhausted from the holidays, but also quietly motivated and ready for things to feel more normal again — I get it.
That messy middle of:
"I want to make changes… but where do I even start?"
If you're tired of feeling overwhelmed by food… If you don't want to repeat the same patterns this year… If you're ready for things to feel just a little more handled…
P.S. If you're a "I need to see it first" person, I get it. I put together a short virtual tour so you can see exactly what's included and how you'd actually use it week to week.
