On South Mountain, the family began its hike about 10 a.m. and, by noon, the heat overwhelmed some of the youth. Firefighters used rapid cooling and carried down two children using a rescue basket. All were treated at the scene. | First-Round NHL Pick a First for Arizona State Arizona State freshman hockey player Cullen Potter made school history as the first Sun Devil ever selected in the first round of the NHL Draft.
