What I'm Loving Right Now: March 2024 Click here to read this on the website and share a comment. It's time for monthly favorites! Here is everything we've used and loved lately... FoodPolar Seltzer Water - We've been buying a big case of this from Costco for awhile now because my husband loves seltzer water, but Isabelle has fallen in love with it! The bubbles make it feel like such a special treat. I've also tried a million different types of seltzer water and this is pretty much the only one I've liked. Tillamook Ice Cream - We are having a serious moment with this ice cream! I started picking it up about a year ago and my husband and I are totally addicted to the chocolate mudslide. (I buy them it at Fresh Thyme.) HomePuzzle Board - My husband got me this board for Christmas a number of years ago and I LOVE working on puzzles using it. It's so helpful to be able to move it around if we need to use the dining room table, and I use all of the drawers to organize pieces. I got back into doing puzzles this winter and have loved having this! Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream - I have been using this in the winter for literally 30 years... I think my mom gave me a tube of this to keep in my backpack when I was in maybe 7th grade, and I always end up going back to it. In the summer, regular everyday lotion is just fine, but in the winter when the air is cold and dry and I'm washing my hands a million times a day so I don't pick up one of the kids' umpteen illnesses, my hands take a serious beating, and this is truly the absolute best I have ever used for seriously dry, chapped hands. Crossbody Bag - I ordered this a couple of months ago when I wanted to downsize from the large tote-style bag I had been carrying for a couple of years. I wanted to give myself some time with it to see if it was something I would recommend, and after two solid months of use, I absolutely love it. It's the perfect size for me - it holds a sizable amount of items, which I love! I keep my large wallet, a smaller card wallet, keys, bandage box in the main compartment (and can also hold a paperback); it has two interior pockets and a zipper compartment, and another exterior snap pocket and large zipper compartment (which holds a pack of Wet Ones wipes because, kids). Owala 24oz FreeSip - This was one of my birthday gifts from earlier in the week and I am already completely obsessed with it. I have used it a few days so far and my water consumption goes up exponentially when I drink from it! Books and TVAt the beginning of this month, I read The Women, Kristin Hannah's newest book and it was PHENOMENAL. An easy five stars; I couldn't put it down as soon as I started reading. Here are the shows we've watched and liked this past month:
KidsWaterproof Rain Boots - Joseph went on a field trip last month to a maple tree farm and they did not have great weather; it poured the entire day. He was bundled up and wore these boots; he said they were super warm and soft and cozy and his feet stayed completely dry. It's hard to find him shoes that feel good, so this was a huge win! Columbia Kids Rain Jackets - Both Dominic and Isabelle needed new rain jackets this year and after reading reviews for tons of different brands, I ordered them both jackets from Columbia and they've been a big hit. Dominic got the Boys' Rainy Trails Fleece Lined Jacket (the blue he got doesn't appear available anymore) and Isabelle got the Girls' Rainy Trails Fleece Lined Jacket (in light pink). They've both said the fleece lining is soft and cozy and the jackets have been completely waterproof. Highly recommend! What were your favorite finds this month? |
