My mother's Easter cake. I was proud to hold the cake with my grandfather on my First Communion. The mold is with me, among my treasures.
This is a big day for many of us, cooking and family and feasting! I'll get right to it with a several recipes below for our lamb (not cake!), including an excellent homemade mint sauce , an easy and flavor-packed salad dressing, and a gorgeous cocktail to try.
Reminder that you can pink-pickle your many hard-cooked eggs (see this ) and make deviled eggs with labne!

Fresh Mint Sauce. Two words: make this! Fast and easy and just excellent with lamb prepared any which way.
Lamb Shish Kebab. This is on our menu! My sister is marinating in garlic, lemon, and oil. Then to the grill (no matter the chill up here!)!
Yahneh. We'll do it with leftover lamb but of course it's just wonderful on the holiday buffet.
Great Vinaigrette. Salad is happy and so are your eaters with this highly seasoned dressing!
Strawberry Gin Cocktail. Let's get the strawberry season started now! Fresh, pretty, yummy.
