On our first evening in Big Bear we had dinner at a most interesting establishment with quite the varied menu! The place is called Santana & Mavericks and they feature a menu that combines American, Mexican, Asian, Italian and French cuisines. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant like this, except maybe The Cheesecake Factory! Anyway, I was somewhat skeptical but we all really enjoyed our food and experience. Lady FoodObs ordered a beautiful, sizzling Fajitas platter from the Mexican menu. Jr FoodObs had a delicious Poulet a la Creme from the French menu. I of course ordered from the Italian menu, choosing an outstanding Chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta.
