The 2018 County Business Patterns program reports that the ice cream and frozen dessert manufacturing industry had 433 establishments and 21,464 paid employees.

According to the 2019 American Community Survey, there are an estimated 395,415 male and 306,205 female employees in the U.S. Postal Service.
