File your information online

We're closely following government guidance for working safely during COVID-19 and have reduced the number of colleagues in our offices.

Please do not send us paper documents or correspondence unless it's absolutely necessary.

Use our online services to make sure your information is processed on time. See a full list of Companies House documents you can file online, and visit our YouTube channel to see our how to videos.

We've also developed a service to Upload a document to Companies House instead of sending a paper document by post.

Register for workplace testing

The deadline to register for workplace testing has been extended from 31 March to 12 April 2021. From early April, any businesses with 10 or more employees will be able to order free rapid lateral flow tests for employees to collect from their workplace and use at home twice a week.

Businesses must register by 11:59pm on 12 April 2021. If your business is closed or you cannot provide tests now, you should still register so that you can order tests in future.

Moving goods from Great Britain to Northern Ireland?

For British businesses moving goods into Northern Ireland, it's important to act now to comply with the new rules. There are 5 key actions for businesses to take:

  • register for the Trader Support Service
  • get an EORI number
  • check commodity codes
  • check whether the UK Trader Scheme could help
  • check goods regulation: manufactured and agri-food goods

For further information on each of these actions, as well as additional guidance and support for business, read the Moving goods from GB to NI guidance.
