Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Some exciting news - Dozer and I are appearing in an Easter Special on Channel 7's Better Homes and Gardens TV show this Friday!! I can hardly believe it happened. Did the BHG TV crew really descend on my house and spend a full day here filming (and eating!), then again the next day at RecipeTin Meals, my food bank? YES THEY DID 😱
We put on an Easter spread which they filmed and today's Jewelled Rice is one of the star recipes. You can watch it on Channel 7 (Sydney, Australia) at 7pm this Friday or on 7Plus online!
NEW "What to make" section
In case you missed it last Friday, there's a new "what to make" cookbook section below where I suggest recipes to try from the cookbook. Because I refuse to let it become one of those cookbooks that sits on your bookshelf gathering dust - let's use it!!

The Pasta (page 74)
The actual name of this is One-Pot Sausage Meatball Pasta, but it's building such a fan base, it's now simply known as The Pasta! A one pot dinner, everybody LOVES the meatball "hack". Recipe video here (scan the QR code in the cookbook and it will take you right to the video!)
Sesame Ginger Garlic Vegetable Stir-Fry (page 108)
This is on heavy rotation around here - because it's an excellent fridge clean out recipe and the sauce makes everything scoff-able (even a whole load of veg!!) Recipe video here - so you can see how fast it is to make, and how delicious it is.
