PATH: New Wave 5 Youth and Young Adult Data Files Released FDA's Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) and NIH's National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) announce the release of new Wave 5 Biomarker Restricted-Use Files (BRUFs) for Youth and Young Adults (14-19 years old) from the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study collected December 2018 through November 2019, including: - Wave 5: Youth Urine Collection and NEQ Data
- Wave 5: Urine Biomarker Weights - Wave 4 Biomarker Core - Single-Wave Urine Weights
- Wave 5: Urine Panel - Wave 4 Biomarker Core - Enzymatic Urinary Creatinine (CREAU)
- Wave 5: Urine Panel - Wave 4 Biomarker Core - Metals (Metals)
- Wave 5: Urine Panel - Wave 4 Biomarker Core - Urinary Nicotine Metabolites (Cotinine and Hydroxycotinine) (UNICM)
These Wave 5 biomarker data were collected from participants in the Wave 4 Biomarker Core, a cohort who were youth (12 to 17 years old) in Wave 4 and youth and young adults (14 to 19 years old) in Wave 5. This cohort provided biospecimens at both Waves 4 and 5. Updated versions of the previously released Restricted-Use Master Linkage Files are also now available.
