Corrupt actors have seized opportunities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and recent geopolitical conflict to further engage in illicit acts like bribery and fraud. What elements have been missing from global anti-corruption strategies that could’ve helped combat this surge, and how can leaders from government and civil society collaborate to produce more meaningful and effective integrity reforms?

Foreign Policy, in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), will bring together anti-corruption experts on Thursday, July 21, to explore recent illiberal trends and the partnerships that can mitigate them.

Hear from these experts on #UnitingAgainstCorruption:
  • Maria Ressa, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Rappler; and Nobel Peace Prize Recipient
  • Derek Mitchell, President, National Democratic Institute (NDI)
  • Sanjay Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer, Open Government Partnership
  • Dr. Delia Fereirra Rubio, Chair, Transparency International
  • Richard Nephew, Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption, U.S. Department of State
Note: Registering through the below link to Zoom’s webinar platform will provide attendees access to live interpretation options in French and Spanish.
