Homemade Strawberry Wine ❤️🍷

Hey There!

There's an old-world May tradition that I've wanted to share with you - making Strawberry Wine

It's such a simple recipe, no more than a few steps. But, it makes for gorgeous results - the wine turns vividly red, and is infused with the sweet, fragrant aroma of strawberries.

Here's why you should give it a try:
  • It's a beautiful tradition. There's an old European tradition that calls for making strawberry-infused wines - especially in May and June. Folklore tells these strawberry wines were a bit of a love potion.
  • It's super easy. Modern home brewers typically make strawberry wine by fermenting the berries with wine yeast. BUT, the traditional old-world method calls for adding the berries directly to white wine (with a little sugar or other sweetener). And it's so much easier.
  • It's fun to share. I like to keep a bottle of the wine on hand for summer dinner parties.  It's just that little something extra that can make an evening with friends feel special.
Let me know if you give it a try.  ❤️

P.S. We order all our wines from Dry Farm Wines. They're natural wines produced on farms using organic and biodynamic methods, and they're free from the creepy additives sometimes added to many conventional wines.
