Hello again! I hope this email finds you well, and that you are enjoying the first week of October! I've been a little more quiet this week, because my kids brought home their first runny noses of the year. We hadn't had a cold in nearly two years! As luck would have it, I had just made a batch of Elderberry Syrup, so that came in handy this week. My kids won't take that on its own, but it's easy to add to smoothies and popsicles, so they get an extra antioxidant boost that way. (Note: Don't give it to children under 1, unless you use another sweetener.) I've also been filming LOTS of video content behind the scenes this week, because we are getting ready to have a minor renovation in our backyard. We're getting a new deck! I imagine it's going to be noisy over the next few weeks as they tear down our old one, so I wanted to make sure that my YouTube channel will still be consistent as we deal with all of the noise. If you have any videos you'd like to see for the upcoming holidays, please let me know ASAP! I think this upcoming week is the last quiet one we will have for a while, so I'm trying to work ahead in the video department as much as I can. In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy the two new recipes I posted this week, along with the meal plan below. Note: When you have a moment, please leave a review + star rating on the recipes you try. Your feedback keeps me going, so I really appreciate it! The comment section on my website is also the best place to ask me questions. I read them every morning! (Unlike my email inbox, which is a mess.) New Recipes! If you haven't visited my website this week, here's what you might have missed: Veggie Fried Rice.
