Iced Cafe Mocha

What’s in a cafe mocha? It’s basically chocolate sauce combined with coffee and milk. You can have it either hot or iced. You can use bittersweet chocolate or milk chocolate. We use a dark chocolate sauce, which is bittersweet, because we don’t want the drink ending up too sweet.

Cafe Mocha is peanutbutter♥‘s favorite drink right now. He prefers it hot every morning while Ykaie prefers it cold. My preference for coffee depends on my mood but during mornings, I always like it hot. I used to drink coffee 4 times a day which became three and then two. Now I either drink decaf or a coffee alternative once a day. Well, minsan twice a day pa rin but rarely.

To make this Iced Cafe Mocha, all we had to do is to combine: vanilla syrup (it’s ok if you don’t have this but it gives an extra oomph to your coffee), chocolate sauce, lots of ice, milk (you can also use plant milk), coffee (instant or brewed), then top it off with whipped cream.

Yes, this is how most coffee shop make their Iced Cafe Mocha. The taste and quality just depends on the ingredients that you are going to use.

CAN YOU MAKE AN AFFORDABLE ICED CAFE MOCHA?

Yes. For example, you can make your chocolate sauce using (dark) cocoa powder, sugar, and water. Then use instant coffee for your coffee. You can also combine an instant chocolate drink and coffee. Pwede rin mag-melt ng chocolate bar and then use it as chocolate sauce. It’s really up to you.

If you’re a coffee lover like me, I bet you’d like to try this drink. Well, masarap ang iced coffee ngayong tag-init. So next time you make coffee at home, try nyo na rin to.
