Following the EU Health Award Ceremony on 2 March, the EU Health Policy Platform concluded today its annual meeting to present the final 2020 Joint Statements by the Thematic Network leaders. Thematic Networks are set up for one year to cooperate and speak with one voice on health topics suggested by the European Commission as priorities for EU health policy. The 2020 Thematic Networks have now finished their annual working cycle and are seeking endorsement from the public health community: - Digestive Cancers Europe is calling for action on Colorectal Cancer Screening in the EU.
- Erasmus MC advocates training future-proof doctors for the digital society.
- Health First Europe and the European Health Management Association are working towards Profiling and Training the Health workers of tomorrow.
By "endorsing" the Joint Statements, you show support for a particular initiative and the organisation that is leading it. So how do you give your endorsement? Contact their leaders and join them in the EU Health Policy Platform. Participants from all over Europe joined online the discussion together with the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety and the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission and EIT Health. Background: The EU Health Policy Platform is an interactive tool that brings together the European Commission and health stakeholders to discuss public health concerns and to share knowledge and best practices. It gives its more than 8,000 registered users the opportunity to post news and events, to collaborate and to work together on Joint Statements in Thematic Networks.
