New recipe: Strawberries Romanoff

Strawberries Romanoff

One day it's chilly and the next day it's unbearably hot. Not to mention the constant shifts from stormy nights to beautiful days. It's Texas in the spring! Despite the erratic weather, however, I love this season as it brings longer days, wildflowers, and delicious fruits such as strawberries. There's nothing finer than a fresh strawberry in season, and strawberries Romanoff is an elegant yet easy way to showcase them, as you simply marinate the strawberries in sweetened orange liqueur then top with whipped cream. A refreshing way to celebrate spring!

Crawfish queso fundido is a savory blend of crawfish, peppers, and aromatics folded into a soft blanket of cheese and warm tortillas will become a new standard at my house. And if you're a fan of queso fundido and seafood, I know you will love it, too.

I love this quick beer bread, which is loaded with jalapeรฑos and Cheddar cheese, along with a seasonally appropriate Shiner Bock. From my subscriber program of premium recipes, which helps support the site.
