Mae angen eich help arnom!

Mae Cymru Iach ar Waith eisiau clywed gan ystod eang o gyflogwyr ledled Cymru i ddeall yn well effeithiau pandemig COVID-19 ar iechyd cyflogwyr a'u staff yn awr ac yn y dyfodol.

Mae'r pandemig wedi cael effaith sylweddol ar weithleoedd a'r gweithlu yng Nghymru. Mae Sefydliad Iechyd y Byd (WHO) wedi nodi effeithiau negyddol gan gynnwys: cynnydd mewn diweithdra; cynnydd mewn risg tlodi a'r rhai tlawd sy'n gweithio; cwmnïau'n cau; a bylchau economaidd ac iechyd gwahanol ardaloedd daearyddol yn ehangu.

Gwyddom fod dirywiad ac argyfyngau economaidd yn effeithio'n sylweddol ar benderfynyddion iechyd fel incwm, cyflogaeth a safonau byw. Mae'r rhain yn effeithio ar bob agwedd ar iechyd a lles, gan gynnwys iechyd meddwl ac ymddygiadau sy'n niweidio iechyd. Fodd bynnag, mae rhagweld canlyniadau iechyd yn gymhleth.

Mewn partneriaeth ag Opinion Research Services rydym wedi datblygu holiadur ar-lein ar gyfer cyflogwyr er mwyn gwneud y canlynol:

  • Cynnwys anghenion iechyd gweithlu Cymru yn awr ac wrth inni symud ymlaen
  • Penderfynu ar faterion allweddol i'w hystyried a sut i ymateb iddynt
  • Darganfod pa gefnogaeth sydd ar gael ar hyn o bryd a nodi unrhyw fylchau o ran y ddarpariaeth.

Bydd Cymru Iach ar Waith yn defnyddio'r sylwadau hyn i weithio gyda llunwyr polisi a phartneriaid eraill i fynd i'r afael â'r anghenion a nodwyd. Bydd y sylwadau hefyd yn llywio'r ffordd orau i ni ddatblygu ein rhaglenni Cymru Iach ar Waith i gynorthwyo cyflogwyr i gwrdd ag anghenion adfer rhag y pandemig eu gweithluoedd a byddant yn cyfrannu at wella iechyd y boblogaeth sy'n gweithio yng Nghymru.

Os ydych chi'n gyflogwr, helpwch ni i lywio'r gwaith hwn trwy gwblhau ein harolwg ar-lein neu gallwch ei anfon at gyflogwyr:

https://www.opinionresearch.co.uk/PHWHWW

Bydd yr arolwg yn fyw tan 31 Mawrth 2021

Rydyn ni eisiau i gynifer o gyflogwyr â phosibl gwblhau ein harolwg, felly anfonwch ef at eich cysylltiadau a'ch rhwydweithiau.

Edrychwn ymlaen at dderbyn canfyddiadau'r arolwg a gweithio gyda chyflogwyr i gefnogi anghenion iechyd a lles gweithlu Cymru.

HWW need your help!

Healthy Working Wales is keen to hear from a wide range of employers across Wales to better understand the current and future health impacts on employers and their staff of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on workplaces and the workforce in Wales and the rest of the UK. WHO has identified negative impacts of COVID-19 including: rising unemployment; an increase in poverty risk and working poor; firm closures; and widening economic and health gaps between geographical areas.

Economic downturns and crises significantly affect the determinants of health such as income, employment and living standards. These impact on all aspects of health and wellbeing, including mental health and health harming behaviours. However, predicting health outcomes is complex.

In partnership with Opinion Research Services (ORS) Healthy Working Wales have developed an online questionnaire for employers:

  • To capture the health needs of the Welsh workforce now and going forward
  • To determine key issues to consider and how to respond
  • To find out what support is currently available and identify any gaps in provision.

Healthy Working Wales will use these insights to work with policy makers and other partners to address the needs identified. The insights will also inform how we best develop our Healthy Working Wales programmes to support employers to address the pandemic recovery needs of their workforce and contribute to improving the health of the working population in Wales.

Please help inform this work by completing the online survey if you are an employer or forwarding to employers:

https://www.opinionresearch.co.uk/PHWHWW

The survey will be live until 31st March 2021

Healthy Working Wales want as many employers to complete the survey as possible so please forward to your contacts and networks.

Healthy Working Wales look forward to receiving the findings of the survey and working with employers to support the health and wellbeing needs of the Welsh workforce.
