Estimated Quarterly U.S. Retail Sales: Total and E-commerce

From the Small Business Administration (SBA), Saturday, November 28, 2020 was Small Business Saturday, a day to honor and support small businesses nationwide. Begun by American Express in 2010 and officially cosponsored by SBA since 2011, the occasion gives a boost to small merchants just after Black Friday, and shortly before Cyber Monday.

The retail promotions continue with Cyber Monday on Monday, November 30. According to USAGov's 2019 Guide to Holiday Shopping, "Cyber Monday is the day with sales and discounts across online retailers. Like Black Friday, online retailers advertise major savings."
