Dear Friend,
Hillsdale has a video we’d like to share with you today. It’s the trailer for our free online course, “The Second World Wars.”
You can watch your video and register for the course below:

World War II was the most significant armed conflict in human history—fought across continents, oceans, and skies with unprecedented scale and intensity.
Yet despite its complexity, this war can be understood.
That’s why we created this course, “The Second World Wars.” It organizes the conflict into seven key topics—The Stakes, Air, Water, Earth, Fire, People, and Ends—to give you a clear understanding of how and why the Allies won.
In this course, you’ll learn:
- what was at stake for civilization during World War II
- how different theaters of war shaped the outcome
- the strategies and investments of Allied and Axis powers
- the role of leadership, technology, and industrial strength
- how a global conflict became one unified war
To guide this journey, we are pleased to feature Dr. Victor Davis Hanson and Dr. Larry P. Arnn.
Together, they bring clarity and depth to one of the most complex events in history—helping you see not just what happened, but why it mattered.
After watching the trailer, I hope you’ll join us by registering for this free online course. You can do so easily on the same page as the video.
Understanding World War II is essential to understanding the modern world—and the preservation of freedom itself.
I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.
Warm regards,
