This blueberry smoothie is one of my favorite breakfast smoothies because it’s filling, refreshing, and packed with fiber, protein, healthy fats, and antioxidants. It gets the pipe moving!
It’s made with simple ingredients and takes about 5 minutes to blend together, so it’s perfect for busy summer mornings.
If you want to make smoothies your breakfast for the week, prep a few smoothie packs ahead of time.
Add your fruit, greens, chia seeds, and any add-ins to freezer bags or containers. Then in the morning, all you have to do is dump everything into the blender, add liquid, and blend.
A few easy add-ins:
Chia seeds or flaxseed for fiber
Protein powder for extra protein
Collagen
Greek yogurt
Spinach or kale
Frozen berries
Banana
Cucumber or celery
This is one of the easiest ways to make breakfast feel healthy and doable without spending a ton of time in the kitchen.
Amazon Tool That Helps: A Good Blender
If you’re going to make smoothies (or juice) regularly, a good blender is worth it.
I’ve used a Vitamix for years, and it’s one of my most-used kitchen tools. It blends frozen fruit, greens, smoothie packs, and even green juice ingredients so much better than a basic blender.
If you’re just getting started, you don’t need to overthink it. Start with the blender you have. But if smoothies are something you want to make consistently, upgrading to a high-powered blender can make the texture smoother and the whole routine easier.
